Guns

You may or or may not agree, but my friend sent me this email:

A Gun in the House

The purpose of fighting is to win. There is no possible victory in  defense.
The sword is more important than the shield, and skill is more  important than either.
The final weapon is the brain. All else is supplemental.

1. Don't pick a fight with an old man.   If he's too old to fight,  he'll just kill you.

2. If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck.

3. I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

4. When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.

5. A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers.
The  reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked  him
'Why do you carry a 45?' The Ranger responded, 'Because they don't  make a 46.'

6. An armed man will kill an unarmed man with monotonous regularity.

7. The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented
on his wearing his sidearm. 'Sheriff, I see you have your  pistol. Are you expecting trouble?'
'No Ma'am. If I were expecting  trouble, I would have brought my rifle.'

8. Beware the man who only has one gun. . .HE PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!!!

But wait, there's more!

I was once asked by a visiting lady if I had a gun in the house. I  said I did. She said,
 'Well I certainly hope it isn't loaded!' To which I  said, 'Of course it's loaded;
can't work without bullets!' She then asked , 'Are you that afraid of someone
evil coming into your house?' My  reply was, 'No not at all. I am not afraid of the house
catching fire either, but I have fire extinguishers around. . .and they're all loaded too.'
To which I'll add. . .having a gun in the house that

How To Get A Fast Reaction From Cops

This is a true story … at least that’s what I’m told.

George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window.

George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked 'Is someone in your house?' and he said 'no'. Then they said that all patrols were busy, and that he should simply lock his door and an officer would be along when available. George said, 'Okay,' hung up, counted to 30, and phoned t he police again.

'Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed . Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I've just shot them.' Then he hung up.

Within five minutes three police cars, an Armed Response Unit, and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George: 'I thought you said that you'd shot them!'
George said, 'I thought you said there was nobody available!'

Seems a good way to get results when you're put off!!

Fake UFO Photos

Want to know how to manufacture your own UFO photos? Tom Callen  reveal how he uses UFO models he creates using white soap, a hobby knife and sanding and spray paint and super glue. Hollywood uses the similar tricks on their special effects shoots .

After the model is created, he shows you how, using a neutral background  to photograph a “cut out” that allows one to super impose the model UFO into any photograph you want it to appear in. He also shows how he introduces blur and horizontal motion to simulate reality as well as foreground objects.

Using Paint Shop Pro saved JEPEG format files are used to composite the final images. He uses an astronomy program Starry Night Pro to calculate the altitude above the horizon and azimuth around the horizon for the Son so the UFO has the proper lighting and shadows as real objects in the photograph. You’ll need that and other neat tricks to make a photograph believable to fool the experts.

Digital Camera Reviews

After studying digital camera reviews and ratings, perhaps even video reviews and user opinions you may be ready to compare prices. Most popular digital cameras, camera buying guides, prices, and comparisons.

Buying a camera used to be all about mega pixels which where expensive but today almost every camera, perhaps except the low end cheapest ones, have enough pixels unless you are going to print large sized posters.

More important is lens quality and size of the CCD. Lens quality is difficult to judge. We recommend comparing pictures from different cameras. Use this basic rule: the larger CCD per pixel the better.

Battery time is also a factor to consider i.e. how many pictures per charge and how long time it takes to charge the battery or batteries.
